Kaplan, Turkish for tiger, is inspired by ancient Ottoman and Tibetan motifs. These stripes were commonly believed to provide protection to the wearer.

Hand-printed in Rhode Island on off-white Belgian linen.

This fabric has been archived and samples may not be available. Yardage is sold in whole increments with a minimum of two yards (if in stock). If stock is not available minimum is fifteen yards please allow 5-7 weeks for your order to be completed. All sales are final except in cases of damage. All ink colors are hand-mixed therefore slight variations in colors may occur. Please order enough yardage to complete your project to allow for the least variation in color.
