Our first heirloom quality fabric, made for modern living.
What makes Sherwood an heirloom fabric?
It is the only tapestry fabric in the world that uses its custom loom set up - truly one of a kind. It is woven with the same standards as French tapestries of the 1850s, the time period in which the pattern was created.
Sherwood was made with cotton threads spun in North Carolina, dyed in Philadelphia, and finally woven in Jessup, Pennsylvania.
The latest in our living collection of antique patterns, La Memoire, Sherwood invokes traditional tapestries lining stone chateaus and quiet walks in ancient forests.
Sherwood is named after my paternal grandfather. His love of nature, philosophy, and the written word can be read in the volumes of journals he left behind, equal in number to the trees he planted - a legacy of letters and leaves.
Woven in the USA, 100% Cotton. Dry clean only.
